About us
At Limfjords Camping & Vandland we have room for everyone. This means that there’s room for you at the campsite, whether you come in a small or large caravan, motorhome or if you prefer to camp in a tent.
Facilities on the campingsite
With the many trees and shrubs, Limfjord’s Camping & Vandland park fall well into the mid-Jutland nature. They form a natural green enclosure of the pitches and provide lovely shelter.
- We generally have large beautiful units of 100 m2 – 160 m2.
- We have many luxury places where it is possible to connect water and drain to your caravan.
- We have tent pitches with and without electricity.
- Common room that can be used for birthday parties – up to 25 people.
Limfjords Camping & Vandland has the facilities needed for you to enjoy a wonderful vacation. There are two large service buildings with toilets, baths, spa, bright and friendly family rooms, laundry, kitchen, common room with TV. There is a cozy conservatory that you can use for celebrating birthdays, dining, activities etc.
We have several covered terraces with tables and benches, where you can grill, enjoy and have communal eating. There is a washing area at a nice height, so you can bathe your dog after a nice swim in the Limfjord. You also have the opportunity to wash your car or caravan.
Our cabins are located in a circle where there is the possibility of having a caravan or tent in the same area – there is good opportunity for socializing.
We also have a large party tent where there is room for 200 diners.
Limfjorden in the backyard
A stone’s throw away from the campingsite is the Limfjord. Here you will find a child-friendly beach, where there is room for splashing and playing in the water. Along the beach, there is opportunity to build sand castles, go long walks where you can collect large oyster shells, or mussels and stones. When hunger strikes, it is possible to buy fast food and ice cream in our Café and Icebar, which is close to the beach and has views over the fjord. If you are really active, there is also the opportunity to sail in a sea kayak in the beautiful, clean water. In fact, the beach and bathing water are of such high quality that the beach has got a blue flag.

Limfjorden – a playground
The campingsite is right by the Limfjord and it is a fun playground for children and adults. There are good opportunities to catch crabs from the jetty and collect stones and beautiful oyster shells on the beach.
You can admire the unique sunset that offers many beautiful colours when heaven and the sea are in one. There is the possibility that the children can play by the water, so grab the bathing shoes and get off.
The beach and bathing water are of high quality. The beach has therefore been awarded the Blue Flag for its clean bathing water.
Facts about the Blue Flag
The Blue Flag campaign works to protect and guard the marine and the coastal environment. This is done by rewarding beaches and marinas which make an extra effort for the environment and for improving the standard of the beach or harbour.
The Blue Flag is assessed & awarded on the basis of:

- Operation, service and facilities
- Safety
Fishing in Limfjorden
Certified accommodation for anglers – Sea Trout Limfjord
Limfjords Camping on the west side of Salling is an obvious starting point for your fishing holiday. You can fish in the Fjord right next to the campsite and out on Kås Hoved. And in a few minutes drive it is possible to reach many other coastal places.
In the Fjord, fishing for sea trout is without a doubt most sought after, but there is also the opportunity for entertaining fishing for hornfish and herring.
In addition to the possibility of accommodation in Tents / Caravans / Motorhomes, we also offer accommodation in Cabins and Mobile Homes with room for 5 people.
As a Certified accommodation for anglers, we offer guidance on local fishing, help with the purchase of fishing licenses, cleaning and freezing facilities, etc.
Ice bar
You must have at least one ice cream per day when the sun is shining. Stop by our popular ice bar, and look forward to putting your teeth in our Mini krabbe, Krabbe or Limfjords Waffle.
Here in our icbar, it is possible to buy a French Hotdog, waffle ice cream, pancakes with ice cream, soft ice or belgian waffles.
Are you into the mandatory ice cream or are you craving a snack? In our ice bar there are different kinds of servings for both children and adults.
Visit the ice bar and experience the fantastic view over the Limfjord.
